Where are TVs made? Manufacturers & production origin

Modern flat-screen TV with colourful display on white background
The TV market is dominated by large Asian conglomerates – most manufacturers stay silent about where their televisions are actually made, or have long since given up their own production. A handful of manufacturers, however, still stick to local manufacturing and communicate this openly. On this page, we present three brands that publicly document their production location – from the last remaining TV manufacturing in the UK to premium German engineering.

Three TV brands that openly show where their televisions are made – Made in England and Made in Germany.

Good to know: “Made in Germany” for TVs usually refers to development, final assembly and value creation on site – individual components such as display panels or chips often come from Asia, even at German manufacturers. It’s worth checking the manufacturer’s website to see exactly what this means.
