On this page, we introduce the only manufacturer we’re
aware of that publicly documents its production locations
– Canton from Germany.

Canton is one of the last German speaker brands with genuine
production in Germany. The company openly operates two
manufacturing sites: its headquarters in Weilrod, where the
high-end Reference, Vento and Townus ranges are built in full,
and a second factory near Tachov in the Czech Republic, which
produces the more affordable GLE range. Canton doesn’t specify
exactly which site builds which soundbar model, but it’s
transparent about running both facilities – which is exactly the
kind of disclosure we look for. Founded in 1972 and still
family-owned today, Canton remains the only soundbar manufacturer
we’re aware of with this level of openly communicated European
production.
