Hiut Denim was founded in 2011 to bring denim making back to Cardigan, Wales – a town that once housed Britain’s biggest jeans factory before it closed in 2002. Today, Hiut produces around 100 pairs a week by hand in their own factory. Every pair is cut, sewn, finished and signed by the maker who built it. Blackhorse Lane Ateliers is London’s only craft jeans maker. Founded in 2016 in a repurposed 1920s factory in Walthamstow, all jeans are made from selvedge and organic denim entirely on-site.
